Red Hot Summer Night is a high-energy celebration of purpose, uniting Austin’s most driven young professionals in support of heart and brain health. Annually, a class of passionate, charitable, and hard-working young professionals come together as HeartThrob Honorees. These rising stars are movers and shakers, making a difference in their careers and in the community. They each put together a dynamic fundraising campaign to support the American Heart Association, culminating in an exciting, can't miss event. Red Hot Summer Night not only raises critical funds for cardiovascular and stroke research and education, but also amplifies the voices of emerging leaders who are making a lasting impact in their professions and in the health of the Austin community. Join us for food, drinks, live music by Winkler Mill, and an evening of celebrating life-saving impact.

For more than 100 years, the American Heart Association has made bold moves to save lives and pioneer scientific discoveries. We haven’t done it alone. We reach our goals working with organizations and individuals who share our vision for better health. The Young Professionals with Heart campaign unites supporters with a shared purpose to raise lifesaving funds to help make our community safer and healthier, building a culture of community impact and volunteerism among the next generation of leaders.

The Need is Clear
Since the American Heart Association’s founding in 1924, deaths from cardiovascular diseases have been cut in half. And yet, there are still so many lives to be saved. Recently, death rates have worsened, and access gaps have widened. Solutions are not getting to the people who need them the most. We are committed to change that.

2028 Impact Goal
Building on over 100 years of trusted leadership in cardiovascular and brain health, by 2028 the American Heart Association will drive breakthroughs and implement proven solutions in science, policy and care for healthier people and communities. The greatest discoveries in health must reach people where they are.
