With a workforce rooted in purpose and a mission-driven approach to service, Salute is redefining what it means to build and maintain digital ecosystems.
Just as the American Heart Association works to strengthen the physical health of communities, Salute is committed to building strong, healthy environments for its people, customers, and partners.
Advancing Breakthrough Medical, Technological, and Veteran-Focused Innovation
At the forefront of cardiovascular and brain health research, the American Heart Association has invested over $6.1 billion since 1949, supporting more than 2,200 active projects and launching or expanding 51,850 studies that drive medical discovery and innovation. AHA-funded scientists have pioneered life-saving advancements—including the first implantable pacemaker, the first artificial heart valve, and drug-coated stents that keep arteries open while releasing medication.
This commitment extends to those who have served our country. Through the Million Veteran Program, supported by AHA News, researchers have gathered invaluable genetic and clinical data from over one million U.S. veterans, contributing to more than 350 scientific studies—including discoveries of genetic markers linked to peripheral artery disease, PTSD, abdominal aortic aneurysm, and more.
A Message from Salute
At Salute, we believe in showing up for our teammates, our customers, and the communities where we live and work. That’s why partnering with the American Heart Association is more than a charitable effort; it’s a reflection of who we are. Heart disease and stroke affect millions globally, including members of our own team. As a global organization, we’re proud to support a cause that transcends borders and brings life-saving research, training, and education to more than 100 countries.
Throughout the year, we’ll be rallying our people around three key actions: getting CPR trained, participating in fundraising efforts, and spreading awareness about heart health. Whether through local activations or global campaigns, we’re committed to making a meaningful difference - together.
