Kirby Baird has been a member of the SpawGlass team for 14 years. He served as project executive and operations manager before becoming president of the Austin Division in 2015. In this role, he is directly responsible for the overall leadership of the Austin operations.

 

Kirby actively participates in construction industry and community organizations and is thrilled to serve as the 2018 Heart Ball Chair. He is a member of the American Heart Association’s Cor Vitae Society and has supported Heart Ball for several years. In addition to AHA, Kirby is currently serving on the Travis County Fire Marshal Resolution Board, the Associated General Contractors Austin Chapter Board and the Boy Scouts Capitol Area Council Exploring Board. He also leads the charge for SpawGlass-Austin's charitable giving, contributing more than three percent of pre-tax profit to local non-profit organizations annually.

 

Kirby was born in Vancouver, Washington and received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Washington State University. He moved to Austin in 1984 and currently resides in Dripping Springs with his wife, Sammie. During his free time, Kirby enjoys hunting and fishing.
