Austin Heart Ball

the event

Celebration of creating and sharing. Our evening celebrates: our work and mission; our donors and volunteers; and — most importantly — the lives saved and improved because of everyone’s effort. The Heart Ball promises to be an engaging evening of fun and passion bringing community and philanthropic leaders together. Last year, our Heart Ball campaign raised just over $51 million nation-wide allowing us to fund over $123 millon of research and programs across the country and in your community.

Austin Heart Ball

Come celebrate the richness and diversity of Austin at the 2010 Heart Ball, taking place March 6 at the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long Center for the Performing Arts.  Enjoy dinner on-stage in Dell Hall, along with music by Erin Ivey, Lance Keltner and other talented local musicians.  You’ll also have the chance to participate in both live and silent auctions, featuring items and experiences unique to Austin.  A post-dinner party will include a martini bar and will spotlight beverages from local distillers and brewers, a performance of jazz standards by Erin Ivey, and a rollicking rock & roll party.  Funds raised at Austin’s Heart Ball 2010 go to support cardiovascular and stroke research and American Heart Association programs within our community, including “Mission: Lifeline,” an AHA-coordinated community initiative that seeks to save lives by speeding up the process of care for victims of a serious heart attack.  Event co-chairs: Allen Beuershausen and Colleen Cole, Honorary co-chairs: Cliff Redd and Rick Johnson
